Memory Usage Chart
On the following page is a list of all the Modules available in the GSP-2101 Artist and the
RAM and CPU memory requirements for each. The values shown next to each Module are
approximate, due to the fact that there are several other types of memory involved in the process
of building an Algorithm. For the sake of simplicity, we’ve condensed these several different
types into two basic groups: RAM and CPU blocks.
There are instances where you’ll think you may just be able to squeeze another Module into an
Algorithm (according to the memory usage chart), when the display of the GSP-2101 Artist will
tell you that it won’t fit. If any one of the other memory types are completely used, the GSP-
2101 Artist will tell you that the Module won’t fit.
When building your own Algorithms, try to leave a few blocks of extra space in each category.
This will simplify the Algorithm-building process and eliminate memory questions at the same
time.
